Starting September off on the right foot!

This week has brought about so much positivity! I started a new job as morning editor for The Bullet, which also happens to be run by an awesome team of women — girl power! I've also slowed down my mornings and started a new routine that is so cozy and welcoming, such a great start to my days. There's a ton to be thankful for so it'll be hard to narrow it down to just five things, but let's dive in!
The Friday Five
Pumpkin scones. It's such a treat to pair these with my morning coffee, like receiving a warm hug from fall. 🍁
My body for being powerful enough to run 5km in 30 minutes, even if it doesn't always look the way I want it too. I love you, anyway.
YouTube* for giving me the ability to continue learning well beyond my schooling years.
Knitting. I have a lot of nervous energy and constantly need to be doing something with my hands. I love knitting as a pastime, but it also keeps my hands occupied and stops me from biting my nails (especially important when there's a pandemic going around 😬). This is the sock pattern I'm currently working on, available through Ravelry.*
My family and friends for encouraging me to take the leap and go for the job at The Bullet instead of going back to school.
